Duke Junior & The Smokey Boots

Duke Junior & The Smokey Boots is a band from Athens, Ohio.  Formed in 2009, they quickly gained a following in the local music scene and began to reach audiences throughout Ohio and beyond.  With a sound that is equally inspired by college radio and traditional country music, they released two full-length albums during their time together.  2009 brought their debut Bag of Bones, followed by 2011’s self-titled album that features the classic line-up of Jess Kauffman, Casey Davis, Kyle Martin, Matt Horne, and Aaron Lemley.  Now, the band has reformed after a 12-year hiatus to celebrate the work they did together, and to see what’s next for DJSB!
